The President Is Considering A Pardon Of A Green Beret Charged With Murder -

The President is reviewing the case of a former U.S. service member charged with the murder of a suspected Taliban bomb maker responsible for the deaths of two Marines.

In a tweet, President Trump said he is reviewing the case of Major Matthew Golsteyn who could face the death penalty. The tweet signals that Trump could be considering pardoning the U.S. Army Green Beret.

In a statement, Army Lieutenant Colonel Loren Bymer said the Army has sufficient evidence to charge Golsteyn with the crime. His lawyer says the killing happened during a mission. Golsteyn lost a Silver Star from the incident and left the Army in 2015 with a general discharge.

Coastal Storms Were Dangerous And Record Setting This Weekend

Powerful storms are setting records on the East Coast and threatening lives out west.

In Northern California, where waves are as tall as five-story buildings, the National Weather Service has put up an all-caps tweet warning people to, "STAY WELL BACK FROM THE OCEAN OR RISK CERTAIN DEATH." The dangerous surf and possibility of 50 foot waves, prompted the World Surf League to cancel today's big wave tour competition at the legendary Mavericks surf spot south of San Francisco.

Back east, rescue teams have had to pull a number of people from stranded vehicles as rainfall set records in Baltimore, Washington, DC and at Dulles International Airport. Daily rainfall levels doubled at Dulles with the storm. The rain will push into the Northeast and interior sections may see snow.

Donald Trump Thinks Court Should Stop “SNL” Parodies Of Him -

Donald Trump is not happy with “Saturday Night Live.”

During a flurry of tweets yesterday morning, the President said “A REAL scandal is the one sided coverage, hour by hour, of networks like NBC; Democrat spin machines like Saturday Night Live. It is all nothing less than unfair news coverage and Dem commercials. Should be tested in courts, can’t be legal? Only defame and belittle! Collusion?”

The post came hours after Alec Baldwin reprised his role as Trump for a spin on “It’s A Wonderful Life” where we see what it would be like if Trump hadn’t been elected president.

Courts would likely not hear the argument since “SNL’s” parodies are protected by the First Amendment.

Don’t Fall For This Netflix Scam -

Police are warning Netflix customers of an ongoing scam.

The Solon Police Department in Ohio posted an email where a user was sent a phishing email saying their account was put on hold after having trouble with their current billing information. The email goes on to ask users to click on a link to update their payment method. Police say do not click on the link and reach out to Netflix outside of that e-mail.

After Solon PD’s post, other police departments also posted a warning.

Social media users pointed out the email contained an international number, some punctual errors and was written with the salutation "Hi Dear." Those are what to look for when trying to determine if the email is legit. One other thing to ask, “who they really ask for this info with an email?” The answer almost all of the time is “no.”

On Neftlix's website it reminds users never to enter login or financial information after following a link in an email or text message.

Nardia Styles broke the record for heaviest vehicle pulled more than one-hundred feet by a female. She pulled a tow truck carrying a car which came out to total weight of just more than 25-thousand pounds. That beats the previous record holder's total by seven-thousand pounds.

Styles, a former runner, trained with frequent recorder breaker Derek Boyer, to achieve the stunt.

Money raised from the record attempt was donated to anti-violence charities in Australia.
