Julia Louis-Dreyfus is busy filming the final season of her HBO show “Veep.”

The actress is also working to recover from breast cancer. She told the “New Yorker” that it's been a rough couple of years and her mother said the actress went through a rough time after chemotherapy. Production of her show went on hold. Then more bad news: her younger sister Emma passed away.

She said that coming face-to-face with mortality has changed her outlook somewhat and now she's a little less "breezy." Louis-Dreyfus has won six Emmys for her role as Selina Meyer in the political comedy, one for “Seinfeld,” and one for “The New Adventures Of Old Christine.”

First Lady Melania Trumpsat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity to share things about herself.

The interview took place on the USS George H.W. Bush, as FLOTUS was there to visit with troops and their families ahead of the holidays. Mrs. Trump was blunt in saying the media needs to focus on substance, not gossip and nonsense. She also said she knows she’s going to get criticized and it doesn’t hurt and it also doesn’t keep her from staying true to herself or from doing what’s right for the country and the people.

She also noted she doesn't focus on speculation surrounding the state of her marriage to President Trump. The First Lady says that she does tell her husband what she thinks, but he doesn’t take her advice all the time. Not holding back, she called out “the opportunists,” specifying comedians, journalists and others who she said were “using my name or my family name to advance themselves.”

ELLEN DeGENERES: Thinking of Ending Talk Show

Ellen DeGeneres may be retiring soon.

In a New York Times interview, the comedian said she’s thinking about ending her daytime talk show. If that occurs, Kelly Clarkson is being groomed as Ellen's replacement. (The Blast)

Although she recently extended her contract until the summer of 2020, Ellen says she's debating whether to continue after that. And the conflicting advice from her brother, Vance DeGeneres, and her wife, Portia de Rossi, isn't helping.

Ellen says, “She gets mad when my brother tells me I can’t stop.”

Portia says, “I don’t see the end of her show as her career-ending.”

Ellen's other career, stand-up comedy, is back in full swing. Her first special in 15 years, Relatable, debuts Tuesday on Netflix.

“We love each other and we love our life together,” the “Second Act” star told People of her two-year relationship with the former Yankees slugger.

“We think about getting married, but it will happen naturally when and if it’s supposed to,” Lopez said.

So close you could smell the action!”

The actor recently had breakfast with Katherine's dad, Arnold, and Chris introduced her to his family at a California winery in September.
