Suspicious Package Sent To Robert DeNiro -
Another suspicious package has turned up.
This time, the package was delivered to a restaurant owned by actor Robert De Niro. There’s some confusion, as law enforcement has said it was his home as well.
An eighth package is also being investigated. Feds say a package addressed to former vice president Joe Biden may be moving through the postal system.
Authorities are now sharing the makeup of the bombs. The explosive devices were made from PVC pipe and contained a timer (likely a digital alarm clock) to set off the detonator. Additionally, the powder contained in the bombs comes from pyrotechnics. X-rays show there was likely shrapnel inside the PVC pipe.
