HARVEY WEINSTEIN: Sexual Assault Case Dismissed
A judge has dismissed one of Harvey Weinstein's three sexual assault cases.
According to the BBC, prosecutors said actress Lucia Evans "had given a witness a different version of the alleged sex assault from the one she had given them." She initially claimed the producer forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2004.
Weinstein's lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, said he'd seek to have the remaining five charges involving two women dismissed as well.
Jeb Bush wasn’t invited to Barbara Bush’s wedding: As we previously told you, George W. Bush’s daughter Barbara Bush got hitched to Craig Coyne over the weekend. The wedding was an intimate affair attended only by family, but it seems not all of the Bush family was invited.
Former First Lady Barbara reveals that the October 7th nuptials didn’t include former Florida governor Jeb Bush, telling Cokie Roberts, “Well, I think Barbara just kept it a secret, plus so few people were invited,” adding, “It was just our family and Craig’s family. And we didn’t invite Jeb, or Neil, or any of those Bushes.”
Meanwhile, the bride tells People that the reason they rushed the wedding was so that her grandfather, George H.W. Bush could be there. “We actually would have gotten married the next week if we could have,” Barbara shares. “We just thought, let’s try to do it soon. We knew we wanted to be married — we’d already made that decision — so we didn’t need months of an engagement.” Barbra adds that while her grandfather is doing okay, he is 94. Source: New York Post
Is Bradley Cooper’s relationship in trouble?:
While Bradley Cooper is enjoying the success of his directorial debut “A Star Is Born” it seems things may not be going so well when it comes to his private life.
“The New York Post” reports that Bradley and partner Irina Shayk didn’t exactly give off the vibe of a couple in love when they dined together in New York earlier this week.
“They were not looking happy,” a spy at the Time Warner Center restaurant Masa shares. “The couple sat down. He was in a hoodie and she was fresh-faced — no makeup — and they barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal. Halfway through, she started looking off to the side and he was moody.”
The couple, who’ve been dating since 2015, welcomed daughter Lea last year.
