TOM ARNOLD: Allegedly Choked at Emmys Party
A fight broke out at an Emmy Awards party.
Tom Arnold tweeted late Sunday night (quote) “Mark Burnett just went apesh** and choked me at this hugeEmmy party. Then he ran away with his torn pink shirt & missing gold chain. I’m waiting for LAPD.”
Burnett and Arnold have feuded for months about behind-the-scenes recordings of The Apprentice. Tom Arnold claimed that Burnett purposefully withheld tapes of Apprentice host Donald Trump saying nasty things about women and persons of color. Some in Hollywood blame Burnett for propelling Donald Trump onto the national stage and ultimately the Presidency.
Mark Burnett’s wife, Roma Downey, tweeted a photo of her badly bruised hand (quote) "Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
Talk About It:
- Whose Emmy Awards party invitation did Tom Arnold steal?
- Likely a short “fight.” Middle-aged and out-of-shape Tom Arnold probably lost his breath in the first 10 seconds.
- Tom Arnold has a Viceland series called The Hunt for the Trump Tapes. It happens to premiere Tuesday night. So this might be a planned publicity stunt on his part.
- Tom Arnold is possessed with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
- Somebody in the crowd must of shouted "WorldStar" as the fight broke out.
- Tom Arnold said in an interview that Trump called one of his sons “retarded.” That's so wrong is so many ways.

BEN AFFLECK: Casey Speaks About Brother's Rehab
Casey Affleck tells Entertainment Tonight his brother Ben is getting help with his drinking problem for his family.
On Saturday, Casey said, “Alcoholism has a huge impact on not just the person, but also their family. I think for his kids’ sake and for their mom, and for himself, he’s trying to do the work and get it together.”
Ben has three children — Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6 — with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Casey admitted his family has a history of alcoholism. “Ben is an addict and an alcoholic. Most of my grandparents are alcoholics. My father is an alcoholic, as bad as you can be, and he’s been sober for about 30 years. I’ve been sober for about six years.”
Casey also says fame makes things more difficult for Ben. “It can’t be easier to have everybody looking at you and taking your picture as you’re walking out of an intervention. I saw my father struggle with it for many years and nobody was following him around with cameras and stuff.”
Garner took Ben to a treatment facility in Malibu in August after an intervention.
