SUBWAY: $5 Footlong Going Away
It could be the end of the $5 Footlong. Subway says it will allow each franchisee to decide whether to keep the item on the menu. The company had discontinued it, but brought it back over the winter -- angering many franchisees due to its low profit margin. There are some other changes coming down the pike, too. The company is experimenting with regional varieties and is even testing paninis in California.

WILDFIRES: I-5 Still Closed in CA
The Delta Fire is still wreaking havoc in Northern California.
A 45-mile stretch of Interstate 5 remains closed for a sixth day as the blaze rages on both sides of the roadway. It has burned close to 65 square miles and was just five percent contained as of Sunday.
The Delta fire is just the latest big wildfire in the area. It's moving into an area already burned by the Hirz Fire, and it's not far from where the Carr Fire killed eight people and burned 1100 homes. (USA Today, Santa Rosa Press Democrat)

Body Recovered After Man Fell From Cruise Ship -
Divers in Massachusetts have recovered the body of a man who went overboard during a cruise on Boston Harbor. Investigators say the 21-year-old was attending a party on the cruise when he somehow went overboard close to Peddocks Island near Hull, which is about 50 minutes outside Boston.
Bay State Cruise Company say the passenger, identified as Aaron Dibella, was taking part in a “dramatic form of dangerous play” before he fell overboard, but no details were given.
A witness onboard says Dibella willingly jumped, but police say it's unclear if the man actually jumped or fell overboard. Crew attempted to save him, but could not reach the man in time. An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
