Here's a story of a man named Lance Bass who was dreaming of buying the Brady Bunch house -- but got "royally screwed."

According to TMZ, the former 'N SYNC member and super fan of the '70s sitcom entered a bidding war to purchase the famous L.A. home, whose exterior was used for the show. He reportedly made an offer "just shy" of $3 million right before the deadline. TMZ says that "he got a call from the agent, saying the property was his." But a day later, the realtor told him there was an "unforeseen circumstance" and another buyer made a higher offer.

Lance says the winner, a Hollywood studio, had a "plan to outbid whoever won after the fact." Now he believes he was used to drive up the price.
