Chris Hardwick Is Going Back To Work At NBC -

After being reinstated to his AMC role as host of “The Walking Dead” aftershow “Talking Dead,” Chris Hardwick is getting back to work at his other shows.

NBC is welcoming the host to “America’s Got Talent” next week and he will host and executive produce the game show “The Wall” for its third season.

Hardwick was sidelined after ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra claimed he physically and mentally abused her. Last week she said in a statement she did not set out to ruin anyone’s career and wanted to “move on with my life.”

Rumor: The Royal Family Is Deciding How To Deal With Thomas Markle -

Meghan Markle’s father is causing, apparently, a great deal of distress for her.

Thomas Markle had promised to stop giving paid interviews about the Duchess of Sussex, but since that “pinkie swear,” he’s blabbed a lot. All of it has been speculation since he hasn’t seen her since before her wedding to Prince Harry and hasn’t talked to him since that day. Is it any wonder?

The rhetoric is now annoying the Royal Family to the point they are rumored to be building a plan to squash the elder Markle’s ramblings. The Queen may even step in. Reports say there have been three high level crisis meetings about the former Hollywood lighting director.

A source says the Duchess is deeply hurt by what’s going on and may have to completely cut him off permanently for the sake of her well being.

Leslie Jones: Leave Old Jokes In The Past-

Saturday Night Live” star Leslie Jones says comedians should not be held accountable for old jokes that are now considered inappropriate.

On ’The View” this week, Jones sounded off on comedians being called out for jokes they told years ago that have surfaced online. Jones noted she's been doing comedy for decades and said she shouldn't be held accountable for what she said in 1987. Jones said a comedian's job is to make the ugliest stuff funny. She told the hosts and the audience “stop walking around so offended, you’re not going to be able to survive life if you walk around offended.”

It Looks Like A “Sandlot” Prequel Is Coming - A prequel to the 1993 movie “The Sandlot” is in the works.

Original director and writer David Mickey Evans is returning to helm the project. The Sandlot spawned two sequels, “The Sandlot 2” and “The Sandlot: Heading Home.”

The prequel may very well tell the origin story of The Beast or even the character played by James Earl Jones. We’ll have to wait and see.

The film does not have a release date yet.

Les Moonves doesn't have to worry about one of the allegations against him.

In December, a woman told the LAPD the CEO of CBS sexually abused her in the 1980s. But prosecutors have declined to pursue the case because the statute of limitations has expired, NBC News reports.

The unidentified woman, said to be an acquaintance of Moonves, reported three incidents, one from 1986 and two others in 1988.

This comes on the heels of a New Yorker expose in which six women accused the TV executive of sexual misconduct.
