Scarlett Johansson swears she never-ever auditioned for Tom Cruise to be his steady girlfriend.
Yesterday, Scarlett told The Hollywood Reporter, (quote) “The very idea of any person auditioning to be in a relationship is so demeaning. I refuse for anyone to spread the idea that I lack the integrity to choose my own relationships.”
The crazy story came from a former member of Tom’s church. Brendan Tighe[pr: tie] told Megyn Kelly at NBC that he accidentally received a printed list of eligible actresses. These were supposedly women that Tom expressed an interest in and they had “swiped right” at the prospect of dating a Hollywood A-lister.
What makes this story doubly disgusting is the time frame. This dates back to when Tom and Nicole Kidman divorced in 2001 and Scarlett Johansson was just 17 years old.
Talk About It:
- She’s Scarlett freakin’ Johansson. No need for her to stoop like that.
- She’s currently dating Saturday Night Live member Colin Jost [pr: rhymes with ghost]. And may soon double-date with Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande.
- Scarlett's statement sounds like a denial. But technically speaking, she does not say those words.
- The Church of Scientology denied the story. Tom would deny it too. So embarrassing for him to speed date so lazily.
- Vanity Fair published a similar story about British actress Nazanin Boniadi, who dated Tom Cruise for all of two months.

Jackson later guided the careers of Michael and sister Janet Jackson when they embarked on solo careers. Over the years, Jackson had a rocky relationship with his wife, Katherine, with whom he had 10 children.

Janet And Paris Jackson Are Fighting Over Who Should Pay For Joe’s Funeral - Now that Jackson family patriarch Joe Jackson has died, the family fighting has begun.
Paris Jackson wants a funeral full of pageantry for her grandfather. Janet Jackson, who’s had a strained relationship with her dad, wants it to be simple. Janet says she’ll pay for the service, according to an insider, because it would be embarrassing for the family for Paris to foot the bill.
Of course, Paris is still not happy about not being invited to the Billboard Music Awards when Janet got the Icon Award. Maybe they should listen to Joe’s own words from a few years ago… “too many folks fight against this family, we don't need to fight with each other.”

*Terry Crews - testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday to advocate for the Sexual Assault Survivors' Bill of Rights, repeating claims he was sexually assaulted at a 2016 party. He drew praise for an impassioned and honest speech— but not from 50 Cent. The rapper shared a meme on Instagram showing a shirtless Crews next to the words, "I got raped. My wife just watched. What the f--- is going on out here man? Terry: I froze in fear," he added, followed by a laughing emoji. While some referred to the post as "disgusting," it drew 125,000 likes—and a crying-laughing emoji from accused rapist Russell Simmons—before it was eventually deleted.
