“The Big Bang Theory” Wedding Finale Had Some Surprises -
It’s official, Sheldon and Amy are wed. But it didn’t happen without some surprises.
Mark Hamill had teased (what we now know were hints) about his role on the episode. It turns out he officiated the wedding! We suspected that Kathy Bates was Amy’s mom, but we never expected the personality she was given. And you though Sheldon’s mom was conservative?
Many were wondering exactly what Teller, from Penn & Teller was going to do in the episode. Turns out, hes Amy’s dad! And with Bates being so domineering, he only got two words in during the whole show. That’s right, he spoke! It took the whole episode, but we heard from the man who is usually voiceless. And it was all thanks to Penny shutting Mrs. Fowler down.
It was no easy feat getting Teller to do the show. He’s a fan, so despite directing a play in Chicago and his Vegas show, they worked out the logistics.
Once scene that didn’t make the episode was a tribute to Stephen Hawking. In it, the legend had sent the couple a gift for their wedding shortly before he died. That can be seen beginning today on video.

Georgina Chapman has broken her silence about husband Harvey Weinstein.
In her first interview since the scandal broke, Georgina insists she was "never" suspicious about his behavior.
Weinsten, of course, has been accused of sexual assault and harassment by dozens of women since last October, paving the way for the Me Too and Time's Up movements.
Georgina, who is a founder of the Marchesa fashion house, says she had been "so naive" and was "so humiliated and so broken" when the scandal first broke. She split with the disgraced mogul within days. "I lost 10 pounds in five days," she explains. "I couldn't keep food down. My head was spinning. And it was difficult because the first article was about a time long before I'd ever met him, so there was a minute where I couldn't make an informed decision. And then the stories expanded and I realized that this wasn't an isolated incident. And I knew that I needed to step away and take the kids out of here."
In the magazine's Editor's Letter, Anna Wintour defended her friend, saying people should not hold her responsible for her soon-to-be ex-husband's actions.
