”Rolling Stone” magazine is getting new ownership.

Penske Media Corporation has acquired a controlling interest in Wenner Media, the parent company of Rolling Stone. PMC says it will invest over 100-million-dollars in the company started by Rolling Stone co-founder Jann Wenner.

The iconic magazine was launched in 1967. Wenner will remain editorial director

In a statement, Wenner called Penske Media "the ideal match for us to thrive in today's media landscape." A press release says Wenner Media will retain editorial oversight of Rolling Stone, and Wenner will remain editorial director of the magazine.

Hefner’s Heirs Have Got To Stay Clean Or Lose His Money-

A man who seemed to be the poster child for excess has made some tough demands in his will.

Hugh Hefner is making sure his heirs stay sober from beyond the grave. The Playboy founder passed away in September and left his estate to five people: his four children and his widow, Crystal Harris. His will, however, contains a caveat: stay sober or get nothing.

If an heir is found to be involved with substance abuse, they forfeit their right to the money. The heirs can request a drug test on another heir if they suspect there's a problem.

Hefner, who died in September at the age of 91, wasn't a fan of drugs like cocaine and felt that alcohol and tobacco were killers.

“G.I. Joe” And “Dungeons And Dragons” Get Release Dates-

Paramount is showing its support of two long awaited movies by sharing release dates.

The interesting thing is the lack of “sequel number” for “G.I. Joe.” That means it may be a reboot. It’s set to hit theaters March 27, 2020. Then there’s “Dungeons And Dragons.” We’ll have to wait much longer for the film starring Jeremy Irons. It doesn’t premiere until July 2021!

There’s a mystery “Untitled Hasbro Film” that will arrive on October 1, 2021. We have to wait to see what it is.

Matt Lauer’s Wife Is Lawyering Up-

Annette Roque seems to be looking out for her interests.

The wife of disgraced former “Today” host Matt Lauer has met with lawyers, according to Page SixRoque had filed for divorce from Lauer back in 2006, but stayed in the relationship after the couple agreed to a post-nuptial agreement which saw her gain over a few million dollars in the event they split.

Since then, the host got a substantial raise of 25-million dollars a year to anchor the popular morning show for NBC. A source explained her positioning herself by noting “The post-nup will likely specify how much Annette would get if they divorce, but she is expected to challenge it given Matt’s earnings since 2006, and given how he has humiliated her. There are also issues over all the property and land they own, both in the Hamptons and abroad.”

The pair is said to be living apart and with the disclosure of a consensual relationship with a 24-year-old staffer made by the woman this week, things aren’t looking good for their marriage.
