Toyota To Announce American Made Corollas-

Toyota says new Corollas for American drivers will be built in the U.S., not Mexico.

The Japanese auto giant is expected to make that announcement today when Toyota and Mazda confirm plans to build a new assembly plant in the U.S. "USA Today" reports the one-point-six billion dollar plant will generate four-thousand new jobs. The two Japanese automakers haven't said where they'll build the new plant, which will have the capacity to turn out about 300-thousand vehicles a year when it begins operating by 2021.

Toyota faced harsh words from President Trump after they announced a new plant opening in Mexico. The Corollas were meant to be built there, but instead the company is now going to turn our more Tacomas there.

Secret Service Leaves Trump Tower In Lease Dispute-

The agency protecting the President can’t even get a discount from their boss’ business.

A published report says the Secret Service has vacated its command post inside Trump Tower due to a dispute with President Trump's company over lease terms for the space. "The Washington Post" says the Secret Service had been stationed in its office a floor down from the President's apartment, but was moved to a trailer outside the building following the lease dispute.

A spokesman from the Trump organization said "it was mutually determined that it would be more cost effective and logistically practical for the Secret Service to lease space elsewhere." Trump has not visited Trump Tower since his inauguration.

Trump Tower is treated like a full-time residence and there will continue to be a Secret Service presence there.

It’s Lights On For The Outer Banks-

Power is back for two North Carolina islands hit with a weeklong outage after a construction company cut an underground transmission cable. Visitors are being allowed back on Hatteras and Ocracoke islands today.

Thousands of tourists were forced to evacuate in the wake of the outages. It was expected to take at least two weeks for the power to be restored, but that would have devastated the summer season. County officials in both Dare and Hyde counties say the islands will be open to visitors beginning at noon today.

Five thousand locals remained on the island after evacuations, which mostly targeted tourists.

Jeff Sessions Addresses Leaks Today-

The hammer is about to drop on the rampant leaking in Washington.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions will hold a news briefing on leaks today alongside Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats. President Trumprecently challenged Sessions to get much tougher on the unauthorized leaks of classified material to news reporters.

Last week, Sessions told Fox News's Tucker Carlson that consequences for intelligence leakers needed to be stronger, saying past efforts haven’t been effective. "I have not been happy with the past prosecutions and investigations of criminal leaks," Sessions said, noting that the U.S. has "already taken a number of steps."

A Justice Department announcement on the news conference says the leaks are threatening national security. They are also compromising international relationships. In May, police in Manchester, England, announced they were no longer sharing intelligence related to the bombing of an Ariana Grande concert with the United States after a string of leaks to the American media about the attack.
