*All the westbound lanes Illinois 203 to the 55/70/64 split will be closed this weekend. Crews need to repair the bridge over the Railroad tracks. All westbound traffic will not be able to continue west of Illinois 203. The roadway is expected to be reopened by 5 a.m. Monday

*The White House has announced that President Trump will nominate former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman to be U.S. ambassador to Russia.  Huntsman, who ran for the Republican nomination in the 2012 Presidential Election, has served in every presidential administration since Ronald Reagan when he was a White House staff assistant. Most recently, he served as ambassador to China under President Obama. 

If Huntsman is confirmed, he will take over a very high-profile post at a time when Russia's meddling in the presidential election and its possible ties to the Trump campaign are under investigation.

*The partner of the Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed an Australian woman who had called 911 is talking to investigators and offering some details into what led up to the tragic accident.  Officer Matthew Harrity says they drove into the alley, with their lights off, and suddenly heard a "loud sound." Damond then appeared at their car and Officer Noor reacted by firing a shot through the driver's side window which struck her in the abdomen.  The officers attempted CPR but Damond was pronounced dead at the scene.

O.J. Simpson’s Parole Hearing Is Tomorrow-

O.J. Simpson is set to appear before Nevada's Board of Parole Commissioners tomorrow. The hearing will be via video conference from the Lovelock Correctional Center at Noon our time.. The board will hear statements from family and others supporting Simpson's release. Simpson has served more than eight years of a nine-to-33-year sentence after being convicted of armed robbery and other charges when he attempted to recover some of his football memorabilia.

FBI: Connected Toys Pose Privacy Risk For Your Child-Your child’s toy may be snooping on you.

The FBI is warning parents about privacy risks from toys connected to the Internet. So-called "smart" toys can contain sensors, microphones, cameras, data storage, and even GPS or speech recognition technology that could disclose personal information. The agency explains that in some cases, toys with microphones could collect conversations and potentially share information like a child's name, school, and activities.
