*Protesters and supporters of the Confederate Monument in Forest Park verbally clashed Tuesday night over whether the memorial should be removed.A large of number of St. Louis Police officers stood by and only intervened when the arguing got tense. No arrests were made. Protesters placed a Black Lives Matter sign on the memorial and some were seen spitting on the memorial.
The President Had An Audience With The Pope-
President Trump says meeting Pope Francis is "a great honor." Trump and the Pope met briefly at the Vatican this morning. Francis gave Trump a medal depicting peace and his three main teaching documents while the president gifted the Holy Father with a piece of granite from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and a first edition set of the civil rights leader’s writings. The Pope smiled and appeared very animated when he pronounced a blessing on First Lady Melania Trump

Big Sur Cut Off By Massive Landslide-
Mother Nature has thrown one popular California destination a second disaster. Big Sur residents were just recovering from a wildfire when they were cutoff from the world Saturday night by a landslide. The mountainside slid into the Pacific Ocean, covering Highway 1 in 40 feet of dirt. Not only had the fires helped bring on the situation, but so did the wettest winter in years. It’s expected to take at least a year to reopen the highway.
