Graduation season is underway! Today there is a commencement ceremony for Fontbonne University.
Nearly 500 students will receive their degrees at Chaifetz Arena at 4 p.m. May 8.
The guest speaker is retired Jamba Juice CEO, James White, who earned his MBA from Fontbonne in 1996.
*An ordinance setting the City of St. Louis' minimum wage to $10 took effect last week. The Circuit Court lifted its injunction that previously blocked the ordinance from becoming law. The minimum wage will rise to $11 beginning January 2018.
*One week after closing due to flooding, MoDOT officials say they hope to reopen Highway 141 at Interstate 44 by the morning rush hour on Tuesday.
*Texas Roadhouse restaurants in the St. Louis area are hosting a fundraiser today for the families of two Laclede Gas workers who were killed while working. Between 4 and 10 p.m. all area Texas Roadhouses will donate 10% percent of food sales to their families.
