*The annual ‘Spring into Jobs Fair’ will take place in St. Charles County this week. The Missouri Job Center of St. Charles is at 212 Turner Boulevard, has scheduled three events to help those looking for a job. Today there is a Curbside Event starting at 2pm-5:30 p.m., Job-seekers can simply drive by as staff hand out bags filled with help-wanted information.
*It should be no surprise that the divided U.S. is split on the airstrike against Syrian forces.
A Huffington Post/YouGov survey finds that 51% of Americans support the strike while 32% were against. A large 17% are unsure.
Meanwhile, 40% said the retaliation was appropriate but only about a third think it will deter future chemical attacks. The most surprising result was 45% not being sure of what Donald Trump’s next move should be.
*If you recently purchased a Fresh Express Organic Marketside Spring Mix salad, you probably want to take a close look at the package. Fresh Express has issued a recall of certain packages, most of which were delivered to Walmarts in the southeastern U.S. ... I won't tell you what they found in it but if you want to know check my blog: (here's the answer: a pair of Florida diners found a dead bat in their salad.) ... The recall is for packages with the production code of G089B19 with the best-if-used-by date of April 14th.
*Security has been beefed up at local churches as police manhunt is on. Over 150 police officers are looking for a Wisconsin man who has threatened violence against political figures including the President. Joseph Jakubowski is considered "armed and highly dangerous.", he recently broke into a gun shop and stole over a dozen guns and a bullet proof vest and helmet. The FBI has offered a ten-thousand dollar reward for information leading to his arrest.
*The St. Louis Blues are going to the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs for the sixth straight season. The team finished the regular season with a 46-29-7 record good for 99 points and third place in the Central Division.
