*Some movies bomb and then there's Shia LaBeouf's Man Down.
The drama sold only one ticket in its debut weekend in the U.K. That's a gross of $8.70 (or £7). The indie flick, which has a 15 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, played at a theater in Burnley, England.
The flick, in which LaBeouf plays a veteran suffering from PTSD, did a little better in the U.S. In a monthlong limited release, it's made $454,490.
- People may not have gone to the theater because the movie was released simultaneously on video on demand.
- It will hit DVD and Blu-ray next month.
- Man Down isn't LaBeouf's biggest bomb. That would be Charlie Countryman, which earned only $11,650 in 2013.
