*Windy today, a stray shower is possible high near 67

*There's a lane closure that might effect you, at 9am this morning MODOT crews will close the ramp from Shrewsbury Avenue to eastbound Interstate 44.  There will also be lane closures on the interstate during non-peak hours of the day.   They are renovating the 44 bridge over the railroad tracks.  The closure will remain in place until the end of the year.

*Police issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for an elderly man with dementia who has been missing since Saturday.  74 year-old Henry Lee Turner is known to frequent the MetroLink station, near Interstate Highway 70 and Hanley Road, he was last seen wearing a blue St. Louis Cardinals hat, green jacket, &  khaki pants.

*GOP congressional leaders could take the wraps off their Obamacare replacement plan this week. An aide said health care committees from both houses have been working with the White House to finalize the proposal. Republican Senator Rand Paul, along with Democratic lawmakers, are complaining about the secrecy of the process.

*North Korea is once again getting noticed around the world after it launched four banned ballistic missiles off its coast this morning . All of them landed in the Sea of Japan, but one got as close as 190 miles from the coast of Japan.  The Pentagon says it detected and tracked the North Korean launch, which did not include intercontinental ballistic missiles and therefore posed no threat to North America. The U.S. Defense Department believes North Korea possesses missiles that are capable of reaching the U.S. mainland.

*Winter has been unseasonably warm and it's affecting the flow of maple sap at a University of Missouri's  maple grove near Columbia.  Only about 200 gallons of sap has been collected so far this year, that's about half of the yearly average they have by this time.  Strong sap production requires below freezing temps at night and above freezing temps during the day.

*Facebook is testing a new feature it's the "Dislike" button.  This feature has been requested by users for years.  Mark Zuckerberg and his crew are cautious about this beucase they don't want to make the climate more hostile than it already is.  They are also testing the thumbs down button on Messenger chats.

*The U.S. Marine Corps is wrapped up in a scandal after a private Facebook group called "Marines United" was discovered containing naked photos of female military personnel.It appears to be part of a backlash for the change in assignments of Marine infantry units. At the beginning of the year, women became able to join. They’ve discovered their private images shared on the Facebook page.A top commander said, "We need to be brutally honest: This behavior hurts fellow Marines, family members, and civilians. It is a direct attack on our ethos and legacy." The Pentagon is investigating.
