The event runs from 6 to 10:30 a.m. and allows anyone to receive a free Sausage ‘n Egg Biscuit or Egg Biscuit Sandwich when they donate $1 or more to Heat Up St. Louis.
*St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger wants to acquire Jamestown Mall property to clear the land. The mall sits in new incoming councilwoman Rochelle Gray's district. Gray has continued to say that she cannot agree on blighting the property until she sees more details on whether or not there is a future plan for redevelopment.
*There's more fallout regarding Ivanka Trump's clothing line. The White House says that Kellyanne Conway, a top adviser to President Trump, has been "counseled" after she promoted Ivanka's fashion line in a TV appearance from the Oval Office. During in interview Conway told TV viewers to "go buy Ivanka's stuff" while standing in front of the White House logo. The plug seems to run afoul of ethics rules that bar federal employees from utilizing their public office for product endorsements.
*Donald Trump's wall could cost more than he's claimed and could take more than three years to build. The wall on the U.S.-Mexico border would actually be a series of walls and fences that could cost up to $21.6 billion. The cost cited within is much more than the $12 billion Trump claimed during his campaign, as well as more than the $15 billion that House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell estimated.
