Trendin' with Tristan: Madonna to adopt 4½-year-old twin girls

*Malawi’s judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula tells PEOPLE the High Court in Malawi confirmed the adoption order for Madonna to adopt 4½-year-old twin girls from the country.• “After their mother died, the children were looked after by their grandmother, who could not fully provide for them, so they were taken into an orphanage.”• Prior to her latest adoption, Madonna was already mother to four children: Lourdes Leon, 20, Rocco Ritchie, 16, David Banda, 11, and Mercy James, 11.


*• Jamie Lynn Spears‘ daughter Maddie is doing better, she was in a really bad ATV crash where she was trapped underwater because of a seatbelt for a minute.  BUT word is “Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking. Maddie continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely"..they also say it appears that she doesn't have any neurological issues which is awesome. She was riding in the ATV with her stepdad he took a sharp right turn to avoid running over a nearby drainage ditch, causing the vehicle to “enter the pond”


*Lady Gaga will join Metallica onstage at the Grammys this Sunday. Metallica's "Hardwired" is nominated for Best Rock Song this year. • Lady Gaga she appeared at the 2016 Grammys to pay tribute to David Bowie. Metallica hasn't been on the show since 2014, when they performed the song "One" with the classical pianist Lang Lang.



*How I Met Your Mother creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas are back at CBS with their second pilot order of the season. Their new show is called "Distefano", a comedy starring Chris Distefano and centers on Izzy and Chris, two 20-somethings raising their newborn daughter and merging their meddling families — one Puerto Rican, one Italian. 


*Chrissy Teigen was involved in a car accident last night (Tuesday) in Los Angeles and the other driver was swiftly arrested for fleeing the scene.The model was reportedly a passenger in the car when it was struck by the other vehicle. Luckily neither she nor her driver were injured. The other driver failed to stop and was arrested a short while later for hit-and-run.



-Danny Glover plays a patriarch who just wants family harmony in the comedy "Almost Christmas". Among those family members are Kimberly Elise and Omar Epps.

-"Loving" is based on the true-life tale of interracial couple Richard and Mildred Loving, who waged a legal battle in the '60s to win the right to marry. Ruth Negga and Joel Edgerton play the Lovings.

-The animated hit "Trolls" features the voices of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake and James Corden, among others. It also includes Justin's Oscar-nominated hit song "Can't Stop the Feeling."
