*A French soldier is being credited with stopping a terrorist attack at the world famous Louvre Museum in Paris today.Reports say a man carrying a knife and a suitcase tried to enter an underground shopping area near the museum's entrance and shouted "Allahu akbar," Arabic for "God is the greatest," before attacking and injuring the soldier. Another soldier was nearby and shot the attacker in the legs. The museum was immediately closed down and visitors were held inside until it was deemed safe to leave.
*Snap Inc., the parent company of the Snapchat app, filed papers on Thursday for what stands to be one of the biggest initial public offerings in U.S. history.The disappearing photo message app was initially dismissed as something used only for sexting, but since it was developed six years ago by some Stanford University frat boys, it has grown to 158 million daily active users, according to Thursday's filing.As a result of that popularity, Snap's IPO could pull in $4 billion and bring the company's value up to $25 billion.
