Eddie Lampert is serious about saving Sears from complete liquidation.

Reuters reports the chairman of the company submitted a revised bid of about five-billion dollars yesterday along with the required 120-million-dollar deposit to keep the 128-year-old company alive. LOTTERY: Man Arrested for Stealing Roommate's $10 Million Winning Ticket

A man in California was arrested Monday after he tried to cash in a $10 million winning lottery ticket he stole from his roommate.  He took the winning $30 scratcher ticket from his roommate and traded it with another scratcher, according to Vacaville police.

The roommate and rightful owner of the winning ticket knew something was wrong when he tried to collect his prize and discovered that his original ticket had been replaced with one that wasn't a winner and had been modified.

Saosongyang was busted when lottery officials asked him to come to the office to collect his winnings, but instead had police waiting.

Iran Confirms It HAS Detained U.S. Army Veteran -

Iran is confirming it has an American citizen in custody and that U.S. officials were told.

Michael White is a Navy veteran who has been missing since July. His mother, Joanne White, spoke out this week saying he was being held in an Iranian prison. It's believed White was in Iran to visit a woman he met online.

It's not clear what he's accused of, as the Islamic Republic’s Foreign Ministry says, "This person's case is currently being processed by officials. The public will be informed of more details of the case in due time." His mother has declined to say why he is being held.

White is married and his wife was unaware he was in prison in Iran until CNN told her. At least three other American citizens are also being held in Iran.
