Burgers are a popular menu item and a crowd favorite for a reason, and fortunately you can find a delicious and memorable bite from the most secretive hidden gems and beloved mom-and-pop shops to popular joints that draw in all the tourists and longtime eateries that have become a staple of their community.
According to a list compiled by Reader's Digest, the "best burger" in all of Missouri can be found at Gordon's Stoplight Drive-In outside of St. Louis, which has been dishing out delicious burgers since the '40s. Gordon's Stoplight Drive-In, which has a 4.7 star rating on Google and nearly 1,500 reviews, is located at 500 Bailey Road in Crystal City.

"South of Saint Louis, in Crystal City, is Gordon's Stoplight Drive-In, a local gem that's been slinging burgers since 1948. The menu features classic diner fare, like shakes, fries, and chili, but the Jumbo Burger with house-made slaw, barbecue sauce, and chopped onions on a toasted bun is the longtime favorite most worthy of your visit. If you're feeling extra ambitious, try the massive Quazdilla, which has four patties stacked high and is sure to keep you feeling full."
