Florida Deputy Sheriff Robert Pounds pulled over a car that was speedingin the middle of the night. As he approached the car, he realized the car was speeding to get to a hospital because the woman in the car was giving birth to a baby. Deputy Sheriff Pounds jumped into action, grabbing gloves and a clean blanket and went to work. Minutes later he was holding a newborn baby girl.
The couple named their baby Leila Robert Jean Louis. The Robert after Deputy Sheriff Robert Pounds. So the couple have a healthy, newborn baby girl and no speeding ticket.
