Mike Rutherford Joined Phil Collins Onstage For The First Time in 12 Years

Is a Genesis reunion brewing? In 2007 Phil Collins of Genesis said he was retiring. The other members of Genesis, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks, decided that without Phil, there was no reason to go on as Genesis.

Rutherford and Collins hadn't played live together since then.

Then Phil Collins decided he was coming back from being retired and announced his "Still Not Dead Yet Tour." Mike Rutherford's band "Mike and the Mechanics" was the supporting act for some shows including stops in Germany and Denmark.

That's where Rutherford joined Phil Collins on "Follow You, Follow Me."

This has to be a step in the right direction, hopefully heading towards a Genesis renunion tour. Collins' U.S. Tour ends on October 19, then we'll see what happens!

Here is Phill Collins and Mike Rutherford's live version of "Follow You, Follow Me."
