See "Waitress" At The Fabulous Fox (Tickets HERE)!
I never saw the film, "Waitress", written by Adrienne Shelly when it was released in 2007, which the Broadway musical of the same name is based on and currently playing at The Fabulous Fox. Having said that, I am glad I did not go in with any notions of what to expect with the story. I am, however, a huge fan of Sara Bareilles and I had downloaded the Waitress soundtrack a couple years ago and so I had an idea from the songs of the story, and was still surprised.
Sara is a six-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter a well a a New York Times best-selling author, but Waitress marks her Broadway debut for her composition career and you definitely hear Sara's trademark sound within each of the delightful songs.
"Waitress" at the Fabulous Fox did not disappoint, and the talented cast did a wonderful job.
I am now eager to see the original movie that starred Keri Russell (see that trailer below)
Might I suggest a "Girls Night Out" to see Waitress, as I did with some of my iHeart co-workers and it was a blast! :)
