Elton John celebrates his 72nd birthday today. Elton has been back in the forefront in a big way with his farewell tour, the "Rocket Man" biopic set for release this summer, and Elton's autobiography due out in the fall.
"Rocket Man" is set to be released in theaters on May 31st.
We are still basking in the glow of "Bohemian Rhapsody," the Freddie Mercury/Queen biopic, but it looks like "Rocket Man" is going to be great as well.
The climax of "Bohemian Rhapsody" was Queen's performance at Live Aid. That day, July 13, 1985, also featured some of the biggest rock acts in the world like Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Who and yes, Elton John!
So, to say happy birthday, let's watch Elton John at Live Aid!
