The New Orleans Saints lost the NFC Championship game due to a bad call. Get over it.
Let's go back to the 1985 World Series between the Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals. The Cardinals led the series 3 games to 2. They were ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the ninth, when Jorge Orta hit a slow roller towards the first base side of the field. Pitcher Todd Worell covered first and clearly, the throw beat Orta to the bag and he was clearly out. Umpire Don Denkinger called Orta safe and the Royals went on that game and game 7 and win the World Series.
I'm sure you've seen the picture of Worrell's foot on first base, beating Orta by a step.
There was no law suit against Major League Baseball to play the game over from where the incident happened. We've been living with that blown call for more than 30 years.
The Saints are in the same boat.
You can't go back and play the rest of the game from that spot. You lost, due to a bad call. Get over it.
