Cheat Codes & Little Mix Drop Dance Collab 'Only You'

After teasing the dance team-up earlier this week, Cheat Codes and Little Mix have unveiled "Only You," their new colossal three-minute dance collab about faded love.

On the track, which boasts some frenetic electro production, the British pop collective sing about missing a lover after a breakup. "Once upon a time we had it all/ Somewhere down the line we went and lost it/ One brick at a time we watched it fall/ I’m broken here tonight and darling, no one else can fix me/ Only you, only you," Jade Thirlwall sings during the hook before a beat drop invades the cut. Despite the somber context of the song, the energy of the track is high, with Trevor Dahl adding some of his vocals into the mix for verses from additional bandmates Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Perrie.

In a press release for the track, the EDM trio explained that they wanted to tell a story that was comparable to the final scene in your favorite film. "You don’t want it to ever end but, unfortunately, there’s no way to rewind the footage, the memories of that love are all we hold," they said in a statement. "'Only You' is about that special someone that no matter where you are in the universe your stars still align." Meanwhile, the female group couldn't be more excited for the collab, admitting that they love the Los Angeles-based act. "We love Cheat Codes and are really excited about this track. We can’t wait for it to drop on Friday. It's a feel good summer anthem and we hope you all love it as much as we do," they said.

"Only You" will appear on a three-disc compilation album from Ministry Of Sound called Love Island - The Pool Party. Among the other artists set to appear on the collection include Sigala, Jax Jones, Clean Bandit and more. The album is scheduled for release on July 6.
