Ryan Reynolds Looks Like Neil Armstrong in New Biopic 'First Man'

Ryan Gosling stars in Universal Pictures’ First Man, "the riveting story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969. The film is based on the book by James R. Hansen and explores the sacrifices and the cost—on Armstrong and on the nation—of one of the most dangerous missions in history."

This is a bit of a different take on the moon landing. Ryan Gosling looks a lot like a young Neil Armstrong (Check out a year book photo of Armstrong here.) After watching the dramatic trailer, I'm in. Can't wait to see this one.

In addition to Ryan Gosling First Man also includes Claire Foy as Neil Armstrong's first wife Janet Shearon, Jason Clarke as Ed White, Kyle Chandler as Deke Slayton, Patrick Fugit as Elliot See, Ethan Embry as Pete Conrad, Shea Whigham as Gus Grissom, Corey Stoll as Buzz Aldrin, and Pablo Schreiber as Jim Lovell.

First Man is in theatres October 12th. Watch the trailer and take a peak at photos from the film below. Visit the official website here.
