Grant's Farm opens this weekend!
You can ride the new Deer Park Safari! It's an exclusive tour and you do have to make a reservation. This is for 12 people and you will get a chance to go on a behind the scenes tour of Grant`s Park. You will feed the animals right off the vehicle. You will also get a chance to walk through Hardscrabble, Grant`s cabin. It's a log cabin just off Gravois that was built by the 18th president Ulysses S. Grant, you can walk through the building.
As always at Grant's farm you can feed goats, parakeets, there are animal encounter shows, camel rides and Budweiser Clydesdale tours.

The Gateway Pet Guardians are hosting their annual Spring 5K-9 run/walk at Rock Springs Park, 1428 E 3rd St O'Fallon, IL
Entry fee: $25, you can't register online but you can just show up at 7:30am and register on-site.
Runners from the metro area come together with their pooches for this fun event! Four-legged companions are not required but are welcome! Timed race runners will begin at 8am.
This race benefits Gateway Pet Guardians and our mission to end homelessness for animals in the metro east through rescue, rehabilitation and education!

There's a Kitten Shower on Sunday from Noon-3pm at the Modern Brewery on Manchester west of Kingshighway, its like a baby shower but for kittens! Kitten season is coming up soon so the Gateway Pet Guardians are throwing a fun party to get ready, there will be refreshments, shower games, raffle prizes and you can submit name ideas for new litters and meet adoptable cats and kittens. The shower is at Modern Brewery 5321 Manchester Ave, St. Louis 63110, on Sunday Noon-3pm
