Mariah Carey Tell “People” She Has Bipolar Disorder -

Mariah Carey is revealing she is battling bipolar disorder.

For the first time, the pop star is talking publicly about her 2001 diagnosis and how she is dealing with the disorder. Carey admits she was in denial for a while, but is now in treatment. “Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me. It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music.”

The songstress has bipolar II disorder, which includes symptoms of depression as well as hypomania (not as extreme as bipolar I). She’s taking medication and going to therapy.

About 5.7 million people in the U.S. also suffer from the disease.

Stan Lee May Be In An Elder Abuse Mess -

A document signed by Marvel co-creator Stan Lee, 95, shows his life is a scary one.

The document spells out how people around he and his 67-year-old daughter are positioning to control Stan’s fortune and, when he passes, the estate. Daughter J.C. is described as irresponsible with money and he holds on to wealth so she won’t be homeless later in life.

“The Hollywood Reporter” sat down with Lee about the document, but later with one of J.C.’s people behind the camera, he denounced it. J.C.’s lawyer says "the story isn't that J.C. is taking advantage of her father, but that she's potentially being taken advantage of by multiple men."
