*CBS has renewed the Anna Faris sitcom Mom for a sixth season, while Amazon has canceled the dramedy Mozart in the Jungle after four seasons and Netflix has axed the comedy Everything Sucks after only one.

*Wacky comedian, TV personality and voice actor Chuck McCann, has died at the age of 83. McCann was known by many as the voice of Sonny the Cuckoo Bird, who cried "I’m cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!" in commercials. (Page Six)

A Quiet Place made a lot of noise at the weekend box office. The horror flick blew away expectations with a $50 million opening weekend. The mostly dialogue-free movie was directed by John Krasinski, who co-stars with wife Emily Blunt.

Last week's top movie, Ready Player One, slipped to second with $25.1 million. The Steven Spielberg action flick has now earned $97 million.

The teen comedy Blockers opened in third with $21.4 million.

Black Panther added $8.4 million to its haul in fourth. The Marvel blockbuster is now the third-highest grossing domestic film in history, surpassing Titanic. With $665.4 million, Black Panther stands behind only Avatar and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

I Can Only Imagine dropped from fourth to fifth with $8.4 million.

The weekend's other two releases bombed. The drama Chappaquiddick came in eight with $6.2 million and the inspirational sports story The Miracle Season landed in 11th with $4.1 million.

Kendra Wilkinson has filed for divorce from her husband, former NFL star Hank Baskett.

Kendra, who cites "irreconcilable differences," filed the papers on Friday. She listed the date of separation as January 1st, according to TMZ, and asked for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's two children.

Last week, Kendra shared a series of emotional posts and videos announcing the split. In 2014 Hank allegedly slept with a transgender model while Kendra was pregnant.

Kendra and Hank wed at the Playboy Mansion in 2009.

Also on Friday, actress Jennie Garth's husband Dave Abrams reportedly filed for divorce after three years of marriage. This will be the 90210 star's third divorce.

*WWE hype man Paul Heyman officiated the wedding of Macaulay Culkin's brother, actor Rory Culkin, Saturday in New Orleans, the day before WrestleMania 34, TMZ reports. Rory wed cinematographer Sarah Scrivener, while Macaulay looked on.

Pauley Perrette Has Filmed Her Last “NCIS” Episode - 

Abby is almost out the door.

The world’s most popular TV show is losing one of the original cast. Pauley Perrette’s days as the colorful Abby Sciuto end with (current) Season 15.

Perrette shared on Friday that her exit will be in two parts, as it should be, and that filming was wrapped on it. The episodes will air on CBS May 1 and 8.

The two remaining series original cast members are David McCallum, who plays medical examiner Ducky, and Mark Harmon who is the linchpin as team leader Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

Former UFC fighter Ronda Rousey made her pro-wrestling debut last night at WrestleMania 34.

The annual pay-per-view event is fully staged. The outcome was pre-determined. Ronda followed the script and “won” her tag-team Mixed Match Challenge.

She’s made a dramatic shift from her bloody fighting days in the UFC octagon. Ronda admitted she’s unlikely to return to MMA fighting, (quote) “This is full-time. They’ve got me for a multi-year deal. This is going to be my home for the next while.”

After last night’s easy win, Ronda’s probably asking herself why she didn’t launch a fake fighting career earlier. (E! News)
