Krushelnitsky, who finished third in mixed doubles along with his wife, Anastasia Bryzgalova, tested positive for meldonium, a banned substance that increases blood flow and improves exercise capacity. The country’s team was already banned from the Olympics in connection with a giant doping scheme from the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates take a tumble during their ice-dancing routine at the Winter Olympics.

Fellow Americans Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue had their own issues, with Donohue losing his balance on a slide on his knees, and putting his hands on the ice. They finished fourth.

It wasn't all disaster for the U.S. Maia and Alex Shibutani -- a.k.a. the Shib Sibs -- won bronze.

Al Hoffman, Jr. was, like many people, rocked by the Florida school shooting last week. He decided to step up and offer an ultimatum to political campaigns: advocate for an assault weapons ban or you don’t get my money.

According to the “New York Times,” he told Florida governor Rick Scottfirst, then Jeb Bush. Another donor has signed up for the “boycott” as well. The next step for Hoffman is sending out letters to other donors to sign on.

South Korea-U.S. Drills Will Resume After The Olympics -

South Korea and the U.S. are planning to hold a delayed joint military exercise.

South Korea's defense minister says the announcement will come before April. The drill had been postponed because of the Winter Olympics being held in South Korea. The regular drills anger North Korea who paint them as a pretext to invasion.

In an odd twist, the South is toying with the idea of hosting the 2021 Asian Winter Games with North Korea.
