Carrie Underwood's 'The Champion' Gets Super Bowl Boost

Carrie Underwood won the Super Bowl.

The country superstar opened the Big Game with the music video for “The Champion,” which afterwards earned the biggest single boost in sales online!

The inspiring anthem, which features a rap solo from Ludacris, shot to No. 1 after the Super Bowl with 16,000 digital copies sold on game day.

Those numbers outperformed Super Bowl halftime performer Justin Timberlake, whose sales on “Say Something,” “Filthy” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” came in at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

NBC will also feature “The Champion” during its coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics from South Korea.
