There's nothing like watching a holiday comedy in the middle of February, right?

  • Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn are back together in A Bad Moms Christmas. The holidays mean getting together with family, and that means the bad moms have to deal with their mothers, played by Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines and Susan Sarandon.
  • Only the Brave stars Miles Teller, Josh Brolin and Taylor Kitsch as the real-life forest firefighters who battled the Yarnell Hill Fire in Arizona in 2013. Only one of the 20 Granite Mountain Hotshots survived the blaze.
  • Matt Damon heads up the cast of Suburbicon, a wry comedy set in 1959 and centered on an all-white neighborhood where the first black family moves in. Julianne Moore and Star Wars' Oscar Isaac co-star.

TV that's new to video includes season one of Duckman, season six of Homeland and season 24 of Top Gear.

Justin Timberlake responded to social media pressure and nixed the Prince hologram. A source claimed, (quote) “Timberlake was 100 percent ready to use the hologram.” (New York Post)

Instead, the halftime show tribute to Prince featured a projection on a bed sheet big enough for Shrek. The change happened at the last minute, thanks in part to TMZ leaking the secret and social media backlash.

Sheila E., a Prince pal and collaborator, seemed to confirm on Twitter the last-minute switch-up. (quote) “During the latter part of the week, controversy reared its head in anticipation of the halftime entertainment show. There was division, anger, and anxiety instead of what should have been a time celebration.”

Radar Online reported that Justin feels emotionally defeated. An anonymous insider said, (quote) “Justin is the golden boy. Although his team has protected him from the nastiest reviews, he is aware that his performance is not getting good press. He isn’t used to negative feedback.”

Talk About It:

  • Twice Justin Timberlake performed at the Super Bowl and twice he caused controversy.
  • More than 100 million people watched the halftime show on NBC. Some of the biggest numbers this decade for the mid-game performance.
  • Thursday’s dress rehearsal, where TMZ learned of the hologram, had been taped in case of an emergency or Justin got too sick to perform on Sunday.
  • On Saturday, Sheila E confirmed on Twitter that she talked with Timberlake and that a hologram was not part of the show. Prince believed holograms were "demonic."

Natalee Holloway’s Mom Sues Oxygen Over “Hoax” Docuseries -

Natalee Holloway's mother is suing the producers of a documentary about her missing daughter.

Elizabeth Holloway claims Oxygen tricked her into providing a saliva sample because producers claimed the documentary “had discovered how Natalee died, where she was buried, that her body was exhumed five years after her death, and that her remains were then desecrated.”

The six-part docuseries “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway” takes viewers through the teenager's 2005 disappearance in Aruba, the subsequent search to find her and the investigation into her vanishing. The suit claims that the show was not unscripted and real time and knew they would not find Natalee’s body. The girl’s father was in the series.
