Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP promoting coffee enema: Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand GOOP is at it again. The company, which in the past has promoted vaginal jade eggs, and “moon dust” smoothies, are now promoting a coffee enema, and as with most GOOP products it doesn’t come cheap.

As part of their “The Beauty & Wellness Detox Guide,” the company is pushing the Implant-O-Rama System At-Home Coffee Enema, which costs $135, noting it’s perfect for folks who want to “supercharge" their detox and for "those who know what they're doing.”

Of course, like a lot of GOOP products, experts are questioning whether it’s necessary, or even safe for you. "If you have a liver, your body is already getting rid of toxins," Roberta Anding, a lecturer in kinesiology at Rice University, tells CBS News. "You don't need to do any cleanses." Plus, NIH's National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health's website, notes "colon-cleansing procedures may have side effects, some of which can be serious.”

She then added, "Actually, I think I’d be a better president than Oprah and Susan Sarandon, probably even President Trump. And I did run in 2012.”
