Report: Matt Lauer is Playing “Armchair Co-Host” At Home -

Letting go of a longtime workplace can be hard. And that seems to be no exception for Matt Lauer.

“Page Six” reports that the former “Today” host has been sending notes to producers of the show giving feedback about the latest episodes. He apparently even gets so specific that he told a staffer the wrong music was used for a segment.

Needless to say the “Today” crew isn’t happy about this. NBC isn’t commenting.

*Wearing Black At Golden Globes - Gal Gadot, Saoirse Ronan, Mary J. Blige and Allison Janney are among the actresses who will be dressed in black at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony as part of a planned anti-harassment protest, and all four voiced their support for a new initiative, Time’s Up, aimed at supporting women who bring complaints. “I am one of those women, so, you know, I don’t want to go into detail about that and I haven’t, but I am, and I stand with those women. I champion them,” Blige said Tuesday at the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards.

Athletes are usually known for their strength and speed, but three big names can also add "politeness" to their CVs. The National League of Junior Cotillions, a group that trains kids in ballroom dancing (as well as to "act and learn to treat others with honor, dignity, and respect for better relationships," per its website), has released its annual list of the "best-mannered" celebrities in 2017. The person who would most earn Miss Manners' nod of approval: pro golfer Rickie Fowler, who showed "consistently well-mannered conduct both on and off the golf course," the NLJC said in a statement to USA Today. "We believe this year's student nominations (and our ultimate winners) are a reminder that, whether you are a celebrity, athlete, musician, or politician, America's young people are watching and they do value character." Last year's top spot went to gymnast Simone Biles. Rounding out the top 10 this year, in addition to Fowler:

1.    Rickie Fowler

2.    Aly Raisman, gymnast

3.    Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans quarterback

4.    Joanna Gaines, Fixer Upper star and soon-to-be mom of five

5.    Sadie Robertson, Duck Dynasty star

6.    David Beckham, former pro soccer player

7.    Selena Gomez, singer

8.    Thomas Rhett, country music performer

9.    Matt Kuchar, pro golfer
