Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Release Stunning Engagement Photos

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make a stunning couple. The newly engaged duo celebrated their engagement by releasing three official portrait photographs on Thursday, December 21, including one candid snap as a thank you to the public for the warm reception.

In the first photograph, taken by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski at Frogmore House in Windsor earlier this week, Meghan and Harry pose on a staircase with Meghan showing off her diamond ring from the royal.

In a second black and white pic, the couple laugh while embracing each other.

“It was an incredible honor to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another,” Lubomirski shared via a statement from the palace. “I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”

The candid third photo features the couple walking around hand-in-hand and shows off Meghan’s stunning feathered gown.

“As a way to say thank you, they have decided to share this candid photograph from the day of their portrait sittings directly with all of you,” Kensington Palace shared. “The couple are so grateful for the warm and generous messages they have received during such a happy time in their lives.”

The couple announced their engagement just weeks ago and Meghan is already fitting in. On Wednesday, the former Suits star attended Queen Elizabeth II’s annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. She’s also set to join Harry and the rest of the royal family for Christmas in Sandringham.
