Angelina Jolie Addresses UN Conference-

Angelina Jolie is back to her old self; and that means being an activist and philanthropist.

The actress wants United Nations peacekeepers to be more serious about their role in preventing and punishing sexual violence. Jolie was the keynote speaker at yesterday's U.N. Peacekeeping Defense Ministerial Conference in Vancouver, Canada.

The Oscar-winning actress called attention to what's been called the ethnic cleansing of Muslim Rohingya [[ roh-HIN-ja ]] from Myanmar. The U.N. says almost every female Rohingya refugee has survived or witnessed sexual violence, including rape.

The Weinstein Company Is Being Sued For Ripping Off A Classic Movie-

The Weinstein Company is being sued over the "Amityville Horror" sequel.

Lesia Anson, the widow of the author of "The Amityville Horror," filed a lawsuit against Harvey and Bob Weinstein's company for allegedly ripping off her husband's work by creating a sequel to the original 1979 film. Anson says the sequel, "Amityville: The Awakening," was derived directly from the original film and her husband's novel, and claims she was never asked for permission.

The movie released at ten theaters in October, after Harvey’s scandal broke, and grossed less than 800 dollars during opening weekend.
