The Academy Is Establishing A Code Of Conduct For Hollywood-Hollywood is responding to the public pressure to clean up its act.

The movie industry is establishing a code of conduct after the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released a memo to its members yesterday saying it's establishing a code of conduct in an effort to halt and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.

As we told you, movie mogul Weinstein was kicked out of the academy earlier this month after he was accused by multiple women of sexual harassment. In the wake of the scandal, and as the issue of sexual harassment has taken on new urgency, there have been those who have questioned why other figures accused of similar offenses, such as Roman Polanski and Bill Cosby, have been allowed to remain Academy members.
