The original creative team of the Terminator franchise is reuniting. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back -- and Linda Hamilton slips back into the iconic role of Sarah Connor.

Her ex-husband, director James Cameron, announced last night at a private party, (quote) “As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return."

The Deadpool director will take the reigns with Cameron as an adviser. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Talk About It:

  • Hamilton divorced Cameron the same year he became insufferable from his Titanic success at the Academy Awards.
  • The paycheck must be significant for Hamilton to work with her arrogant ex.
  • This movie will be the 6th in the franchise that started over three decades ago.
  • Cameron said 70-year-old Arnold and 60-year-old Linda "anchor” the movie but new action stars are the centerpiece.

Lawsuit Blames “American Made” Actor And Director For Deaths-

The estates of two men killed during filming of “American Made” blame Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman for the accident.

Alan Purwin and Carlos Berl died on the scene of the plane crash, while Jimmy Lee Garland was left without feeling in the lower half of his body.

The lawsuit notes “The demands of filming in Colombia, together with Cruise’s and director Doug Liman’s enthusiasm for multiple takes of lavish flying sequences, added hours to every filming day and added days to the schedule.”

Though Cruise and Liman are not named in the suit, they are partly blamed. Imagine Entertainment, Vendian Entertainment and Cross Creek Pictures are the ones in the suit and the families want a judgment for wrongful death and damages.
