*The city’s top taco joints battle it out at Taco-Rita, presented by Sauce Magazine on FRIDAY at 4pm at the public media commons...Each ticket gets you a punch card for 1 taco from each of the 10 participating restaurants. After snacking on all the tacos you can stomach, vote for your favorite! Then head to the bar for some tasty margaritas and a Modelo.

*The Battlegrounds, St. Louis’ largest permanent mud run obstacle course, will hold its 10th bi-annual mud run for those 18 years of age and older.  The mud run is Sat., Sept. 23 beginning at 8 a.m.11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo. next to Cedar Lake Cellars winery.

*The Humane Society's Longmeadow Rescue Ranch is hosting their Wagon Days Saturday from 11am-3pm, The event features wagon ride tours where visitors see firsthand the safe haven Longmeadow provides to abused and neglected farm animals, including horses, cows, goats, pigs, ducks and more! Pack a picnic lunch, and don’t forget to check out the gift shop!
