*Ameren is sending crews from St. Louis to Florida to help restore power. Millions are without power right now, 120 workers from Missouri are enroute to help!
*The Humane Society of Missouri brought back 36 dogs from the Hurricane Harvey Disaster Area. 24 of those were owner surrenders because of flooding and they could no longer care for them. Many of them are now available for adoption.
*Red Cross in urgent need of donations, volunteers for Hurricane Irma aftermath. So far, nearly 100 volunteers have been deployed from Missouri to help with hurricane relief efforts.

*Miami’s main airport doesn’t know yet when it will reopen after Irma
*Under the hurricane's brutal winds, 3 cranes on top of residential buildings still under construction folded and fell yesterday. The first fell at about 10:30 a.m. on a downtown Miami apartment building. Later Sunday, a second crane fell from the top a condo building in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami. In the afternoon, a crane on top of a condo in Fort Lauderdale fell, bringing the total to three. There were no injuries immediately reported as a result of the fallen cranes. (Miami Herald)
