Mom Rewrites Her Daughter's Homework Assignment for Working Mom's

Lynne Polvino said she almost lost it when she read her daughter's homework assignment. Her 6-year-old daughter Hazel was asked to fill in the blanks on a story about a girl named Lisa who's mother went back to work. The story basically says Lisa would be happier if Mom stayed home. 

Lynne decided to rewrite the worksheet and the rewrite has us all cheering. "Lisa was glad she was growing up in a society free of gender bias and misogyny..." Read the assignment and Lynn's full response below.
