Why female-named storms are deadlier than male-named storms


According to a new study from the University of Illinois, female-named hurricanes are more deadly.  Apparently, because people perceive a woman's name to be less destructive.  The more feminine the name...the less severe people think the storm will be so they don't take it as seriously.


Who knew weather was so sexist?!
