Celeb Garbage: Tom Hanks' 'audition' for Forest Gump, Rock's mother hit by drunk driver & Aunt Jemimah suing

You may have seen a video of Tom Hanks working on the Forest Gump character in the beginning stages of the film.  Some have labeled it an audition tape...and it's not. Producer, Steve Starkey says:

'We sent the script to Tom Hanks because he was the only one who could play it ... About an hour and a half after he started reading it, Tom called and said, “I’m in.” From that point on, we knew we could get the movie made.'  FULL STORY

The Rock's mother was hit in a head-on collision with a drunk driver over the weekend.  She is doing fine!

...and the heirs to Aunt Jemima are filing a $2,000,000,000 lawsuit against PepsiCo, Quaker Oats and 2 other companies. Anna Short Harrington's (took over the Aunt Jemima character in 1937) great grandson is filing suit for exploiting her image for 60 years without paying up!
