Happy Birthday Meat Loaf

Meat Loaf who was born Marvin Lee Aday on September 27, 1947 turns 72 today!

In 1977 he released one of the most unique albums we've ever heard. "Bat of Out Hell," was an album that had song titles all named after cliches, "Bat Out of Hell," "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth."

The album was produced by Todd Rundgren, and featured Rundgren on guitar, as well as Roy Bittan and Max Weinberg from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, Edgar Winter, Jim Steinman, (who wrote all the songs) and even long time New York Yankees shortstop and broadcaster, Phil Rizzuto.

"Paradise By The Dashboard Light" became an instant classic and that's they we'll say happy birthday to Meat Loaf!!
