'Melrose Place' Actress Won't Return to Prison For Killing Woman in Crash

A judge announced a former Melrose Place actress won't serve more jail time for a fatal 2010 DWI crash and triggered outrage from the widower of woman she killed. Fred Seeman told the New Jersey judge Friday: "It wasn't an accident, it was a crime." He added: "We're not here for vengeance, we're here to beseech you, to implore you, to request that you follow the law, your honor." His wife of 38 years, Helene, died when actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer was drunk driving and crashed into their car.
